The WIR 238 infared system is ideal for TV listening, meetings, or any small group listening application. Listen at the volof your comfort without disturbing others. The WIT 238's transmitter operates within a 30 ft (9m) line-of-sight area transmitter, and accomodates other listening with additional additional receivers. Connects directly to your TV, VCR, or DVD equipped with standard output jacks. The WIR 238's under-the-chin style infrared receiver is suitable for mild to moderate hearing loss. It features high quality, low distortion sound, and angled ear couplings for maximum comfort and performance. On/Off switch is built into the "arms" of the receiver so it can never be left on to drain the batteries. Five year manufacturer's warranty.
